Full Time Medical Providers

Uma Kolli, M.D. Medical Director – Board Certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Kolli leads HealthFirst Family Care Center's team of primary care and specialty physicians who support the Center's mission to provide quality, affordable health care to all residents of Greater Fall River, regardless of their ability to pay.

Dr. Kolli completed her internship and residency at Brown University, Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island and is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Association of Family Practice.

Nidhi Koul, M.D. – A board certified pediatrician, Dr. Koul completed her residency at Brenner's Children's Hospital through Wake Forest University in North Carolina and did her internship at Brookdale University Hospital in New York. Dr. Koul staffed the state's mobile health clinics in India, providing medical care and prescription drugs to underprivileged residents. She is activly involved in preventive child health issues, especially obesity and asthma prevention.

Part-Time/On-Site Medical Providers

Gloria Mercado, MD – A general practitioner, Dr. Mercado provides primary medical care to adults and children. She completed her medical studies and internship in the Philippines and has experience in both emergency and out patient care. For more than 20 years, she provided ambulatory care services in Attleboro and Fall River.

Kunjbala Sharma, MD – A general practitioner with experience in both adult and pediatric medicine. She completed her medical training in India, her pediatric post graduate medical training at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, and family practice training at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Utica, NY.

Kevin Harkins, P.A.C., M.H.P. Physician Assistant - Mr. Harkins earned a Master of Health Professions degree and Physician Assistant Certification from Northeastern University in Boston. He provides primary health care to adults and children and has additional experience in emergency medicine.
